At the 2018 Carteret-Perth Amboy Thanksgiving Day Game, URSB awarded two high school seniors with football scholarships in recognition of their outstanding athletic and academic achievements. James Henderson, a football player at Carteret HS, and Dazzlyn Cosme, a cheerleader at Perth Amboy HS, each received $500 along with a trophy and certificate.
