SUMMARY: Provide personalized banking services ensuring the highest level of quality service is  provided to current and prospective customers. Responsible for a variety of duties relating to the opening  and processing of new accounts; establishing and maintaining customer relationships; assess customer  needs and effectively sell appropriate bank products and services. Other responsibilities include the  accurate processing of routine financial transactions for banking customers, preparing, and maintaining  various reports, records and files while ensuring operational integrity.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the  tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at  any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.  

  • Provide personalized banking services to current and prospective customers, consistently  seeking to expand customer satisfaction and retention and provide the highest-level quality  customer service.  
  • Open new personal, business, and non-personal accounts and perform maintenance on existing  accounts as requested. Follow established Bank policies and procedures which includes the  completion and verification of the business account profile, including the Bank Secrecy Act  site visit as in policy guidelines.  
  • Perform account maintenance duties for customers (address changes, account title changes,  etc.) 
  • Input TCR checklist when needed. 
  • Facilitate customer satisfaction and retention by successfully researching and resolving  customer issues and inquiries.  
  • Perform transactional duties accurately to avoid errors, including advanced and complex  transactions, handling special requests, and investigating discrepancies in accordance with  Bank policies and procedures.  
  • Adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies when assisting customers in obtaining any  account information.  
  • Accurately complete daily UB proof. Investigate any differences with supervisor. 
  • Assist with reconciliation of ATM daily and assure proper equipment operation.
  • Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with established Bank  procedures and regulations.  
  • Assist with reconciliation of coin machine daily, ability to change coin bags, maintain  cleanliness to ensure proper equipment operation.  
  • Daily use of Cash Recycler to include maintenance as needed and proof as designated. 
  • Other duties assigned by Lead Universal Banker and/or Assistant Lead Universal Banker (UB  II)

  • Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and co-workers.

  • May be requested to represent the Bank in various civic and community functions to enhance its image and marketing experience.  
  • As unique situations present themselves must be sensitive to Bank needs, customer  and employee goodwill, and the public image. 
  • Maintain an appropriate knowledge of banking laws and regulations and the 

Bank’s policies and procedures. 

  • Ability to be thorough and detail oriented while meeting deadlines. 
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Competence with computers. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 

Previous CSR / teller experience preferred but not required.

  • Responsible for End of Year IRA reporting.  
  • Responsible for all online and mobile banking customer interaction 
  • Responsible for vault shipment  
  • Always maintain an adequate cash drawer balance; this includes buying and selling currency  from the vault, as necessary. 
  • Order, receive, verify, and distribute cash.  
  • Supervise vault operations and cash drawer operations. Manages cash levels on a daily basis.
  • Supply Universal Bankers with cash.  
  • Assist with reconciliation of ATM daily and assure proper equipment operation.
  • Assure effective operation of the Coin Machine  
  • Assists with branch scheduling and timekeeping process.  
  • Facilitate customer satisfaction and retention by successfully researching and resolving  customer issues and inquiries.
